- Parliamentary run-off elections:
- The Intelligence Ministry filters the online television channel of the Islamic Steadfastness Front just a day ahead of the second round of parliamentary polls.
- Alef News releases the names of 25 candidates of the Isargaran-e Defae-e Moqaddas [Self-Sacrificers of the Sacred Defense] in Tehran. The list is considered the unofficial list of the Basij.

- Commander Yadollah Javani of the Revolutionary Guards defends the Islamic Republic's support to Syria in Sobh-e Sadeq's editorial.
