Map: Diplomatic Appointments

Yesterday’s decrees assigned several members of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s network to foreign posts. The most prominent member to be moved out of the country is Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, first son of the ex-president and former commander of the elite Republic Guard. Several of Saleh’s circle were also moved to military attaché positions abroad.
