Coopérative pour le développement du Congo (CODECO) is a loose coalition of ethic Lendu armed militia groups that operate in the Djugu and Mahagi districts in Ituri province of the eastern Democratic of the Republic of the Congo. CODECO was originally founded as a political movement in the 1970s but mobilized into an armed group during the Second Congo War in the late 1990s and early 2000s. CODECO remobilized in 2017 and began attacking civilians under the claim to defend Lendu farming communities from the pastoralist Hema communities.
