A suspected UAE drone struck Yemeni Army positions in Hadramawt governorate, eastern Yemen, on August 12.[i]
Somalia Security Brief:
Al Shabaab detonated a Suicide Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (SVBIED) targeting a local official in Afgoi, Lower Shabelle region, southern Somalia, on August 11.[ii] Al Shabaab claimed the SVBIED killed the former deputy commissioner of Afgoi.
