Diplomacy
- Aftermath of the attacks against the British embassy compounds in Tehran:
- Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi meeting his Swedish counterpart: "Attack against the British embassy was not predictable and is not approved of."
- The Student Basij' Council of the Entrenched at the Den of Sedition of the Old Fox in a statement condemns arrest of several of its members who were engaged in the attacks against the British embassy compounds in Tehran.
- Council of the Hezbollah Students at the Science and Technology University for the second time criticizes attacks against the British embassy compounds.
- According to Shi'a News, Qatar has prohibited travel of religious leaders from Iran, Bahrain and Iraq who would perform the Ashoura ceremonies.
- [E] The United Arab Emirates' Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed that Iran is not at all a threat either to the Persian Gulf states or to anybody else, and further indicated that the US and Israeli claims about Iran's nuclear drives are just a lie as Tehran is not after making a nuclear bomb.

- Farda News releases aerial photographs of United States aircraft carriers recorded by the Revolutionary Guards.
- Two members of the Basij are killed in Sistan va Balouchestan province.
- Mohammad-Ali Asoudi, Cultural and Propaganda official at the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader to the Revolutionary Guards warns against "the CIA which is infusing melodies and poems to its liking among the praise singers in order to counter the culture of Ashoura."
Trade
- Shafaf News' analyst writes that in the medium term, European countries can't count Saudi Arabia's oil production elasticity and will be forced to import oil from Iran.
- Roads and Urban Development Minister Ali Nikzad says Mehr Housing Foundation will soon start building in Iraq and Syria.
- [E] The Qatari Emir's senior economic advisor on Tuesday called on the European Union to avoid a ban on oil imports from Iran, saying that the move would have devastating repercussions.
