Charlie Szrom
Charlie Szrom served as Senior Analyst and Program Manager for the Critical Threats Project at the American Enterprise Institute, where he managed a team of research analysts focused on producing open-source analysis of challenges to American national interests. His research has focused on international security and economics in Iran, Africa, Pakistan, Eastern Europe, and Gaza. Beyond the Critical Threats Project, he has written for Foreign Policy, the American, the Weekly Standard, Commentary, and the Institute for the Study of War. Prior to joining the Critical Threats Project, Szrom served as the deputy Ohio director for the McCain 2008 campaign. Szrom graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University, where he received a B.A. in Political Science and History.
